Faculty members are welcoming new colleagues and saying adios to those moving on.
In – The School of Fashion welcomes Robert Ott, as Chair for a five-year term.
Out – Linda Lewis is retiring as Chair of the School of Fashion after 40 years of working at Ryerson.
In – Jean-Paul Boudreau has been re-appointed as the Chair of the Department of Psychology for another five-year term.
In – The Ted Rogers School of Management has appointed Dr. James Norrie to the newly created Associate Dean of Administration position.
In – Dr. Carl Benn, was appointed Chair of the Department of History.
Out – Dr. John Morgan, who acted as Interim Chair, is out.
In – Dr. Karim Ismaili has been appointed as Chair of the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology.
In – Interim Associate Dean of Research, Development and Graduate Programs for the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Science, Dr. Mohamed Lachemi has been appointed to the position for another five years.
In – The appointment of Dr. Darrick Heyd as Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biology means that Heyd, last year’s Interim Chair, will be here for the next five years.
In – Dr. Ted Dunlop is the new Director of the School of Child and Youth Care. He spent the last ten years working in New Zealand.
Out – Dunlop will be replacing Dr. Carol Stuart as the Director of the School of Child and Youth Care.
In – Dr. Christopher Evans solidified his positions as Associate Dean of Undergraduate Science Programs and Student Affairs for the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Science. He has been appointed as Chair for a five-year term.
